For a few days now I have to set the day and time on my PC every time, before I can't get into any program. - I don't know if it happened in connection with two cleaning programs that I had run. This is of course quite annoying; does anyone know of an easy way to fix the problem?
I would rather say that your CMOS battery in the laptop is already empty, which means that the time no longer runs when the laptop is switched off.
This means buying a new CMOS battery, screwing on the laptop and replacing it with a new one.
That sounds like an empty battery that supplies the memory with the time data with power during PC downtime.
I suspect the PC is a bit older? The BIOS battery is probably all there. Therefore, the PC can no longer remember the date. The battery must therefore be changed. If it's just pinched, you can do it yourself. On some motherboards, the battery is also soldered, then you should have it done. Should stay financially within limits.
Addendum: Do you mean PC or laptop? Laptop is in the heading, PC in the text?! It may be a little more expensive with a laptop.

A PC is usually a workstation with external peripheral devices (monitor, keyboard, mouse). If all of this is integrated (e.g. Mac *), it is an all-in-one PC. Once it's mobile, it's no longer a PC. That is my understanding of the term and that is how it is used in my world.
* The MAC is a bad example here, because the MAC is not a PC, but there are also PCs that are similar in structure (All-in-One) to a MAC.
