I have old laptops, cell phones, erreaders, MP3 players and cables which I would like to get rid of.
Of course, I could bring them to a material court, but I've read that organizations recycle old cell phones, for example, and send the proceeds to good causes. I would be reluctant to bring the phones to one point, the laptops to another and so on.
Does anyone know if there's a collection point?
There's not any.
The best "good purpose" you do, if you buy as little as possible Neuschrott and need him a long time!
Unfortunately, most electronic waste today still has a negative value. That is, to get rid of him, you have to pay.
At best, "recycling" means that the scrap is dismantled and disposed of properly. This involves a great deal of effort, so that the recovery of raw materials can't finance this work here with us.
That's why millions of tons of our trash land in the Third World, often burned out in the open, so that freelancers can at least get the copper out and sell it. It's the sheer madness, hell.
With us it is at best auxiliary companies, rarely also companies, which accept for individual projects or short time a certain type of device and meaningfully "recycle".
Everything that still works you could z.b. Give to the boards, possibly also second hand department stores, children's homes etc.
or sell for a few euro on classifieds and donate the proceeds accordingly.
