Laptop can t find a Wi-Fi connection

My HP laptop can't find a Wi-Fi connection. When I plug the internet cable into the internet, but not wirelessly… On the picture you can see that I don't even have the option to switch Woan on and off. Back then there was a point with "Wlan". Can anyone give me tips?

Probably the WLAN is deactivated or the driver is not installed

I uninstalled the driver, installed it, made an update, reset the laptop, so the part will soon be flying through the room.

What does the device manager say?

Is a physical switch on the device to turn the Wi-Fi on and off? Perhaps the WLAN module is also defective… But I still type in a missing WLAN driver… Which device is it exactly?

Since no WLAN adapter (WAN is not WLAN) is displayed in your device manager, the rest of Windows does not recognize a WLAN adapter either.

Possibility Number 1:
You have not installed a WLAN adapter or it is defective.

Option 2:
The WLAN adapter is deactivated in the BIOS.

Option 3:
Your device has a hardware switch on the housing that can be used to deactivate the WLAN adapter.

Option 4:
The driver is not installed, but then a yellow exclamation mark should appear somewhere in the device manager, telling you that there's a device that was not recognized.
Unfortunately, your screenshot of the device manager does not show it all the way to the top, so it is not clear whether there's an entry with a yellow exclamation mark somewhere.

Option 5:
There's a "hardware" switch ", but it can only be reached virtually using a key combination such as" Fn-F6 "or something similar. For this you need the correct keyboard / Fn key driver for the laptop.

Option 6:
A combination of the above options (e.g. Adapter deactivated in BIOS and hardware switch off) is of course still possible.
