Chrome's hidden content disappears?

For some time now I can't watch videos via Chrome without any problems. Both on Youtube, Netflix and Prime appear hidden content such as translations, episode title and progress bar no longer reasonable. Persist entirely until you move the mouse (Netflix) or just fade (Prime / YT).

Drivers are up to date. Virus scan revealed nothing. Glary Utilities has cleaned everything up. Have an HP laptop with W10.
