I recently set up an account using the Paysafecard app that now contains a small amount of money. If I want to access this page on my laptop now, Safari has been warning me for days that the page is not private and that there's a danger. Chrome warns that it will not be a secure connection. Sometimes even my Wi-Fi prevents me from accessing it. What's going on, I don't want to just click on continue. Paysafecard is actually a reputable company, but there's a reason why it is displayed. The whole thing has been going on for days…
This could be a fake site or the corresponding device recognizes it as a virus
But I google the page and come to it, I'm redirected to this page from pages (reputable) on which I want to pay. I'm actually pretty sure I'm heading for the right one
Then the device or your WLAN will recognize it as a virus
Maybe your watch is not working properly? That can cause this more often.
Or, it is actually a man in the middle attack, something should warn against this in theory.
Just because you are on the right address, you are not on the right page.
But if I'm even redirected to this page? Isn't that a bit strange?
Have now tried it on my iPhone browser. The same… I also get different messages depending on the browser, hence my assumption that it can't only be due to the WLAN
No.
If you do it right, you won't end up on the right paysafecard page, but only on the wrong one.

It could be malware on your system or an attacker somewhere on the network.
Could you maybe show me somehow?
Yes also initially thought that it might actually be such an attack. But shouldn't a company like this have fixed that after days?
The attack has nothing to do with paysafecard, but happens to you, on your half of the network.
Do you get a similar warning when you visit sites like paypal.com?
Because if there's an attacker, it is likely that he will attack multiple sites.
Thank you I don't really know anything about it.
My only question: Why do I only have the problem on one side?
Is it only on one side? Have you tried paypal.com, for example?
Is your clock running correctly? (Compare with https://time.is/de/, It is important that it is correct.
Screenshots are added, this comes immediately after I navigate to the page
Tried with PayPal, had no problem
Clock is correct
Also tried pages like n26, page of my bank etc now. Everything went smoothly
Can you try to go to http://www.paysafecard.com (with the www)?
And can you go to the certificate in the upper left corner of chrome? (Where it says "not sure")
In this case my WLAN provider immediately says "Access not allowed"
Then I think that your WLAN provider actually manipulates something or does something strange with paysafecard.com. I would sort it out with that.
Interestingly, at the beginning of the problem I haven't got this message yet. Always just as if it came from "Safari or Chrome itself", if you understand what I mean by that. Of course I have too little knowledge to judge that they are making this message because of my WLAN
So would you assume a technical problem with my Wi-Fi rather than an actual attack?
By the way, when I go to the certificate it says invalid
If you trust your WLAN provider I would assume a malfunction, if you do not trust it, an attack. Neither of these mean that one should ignore it.
The warning comes from chrome or safari, but the problem is not, the problem is that something is wrong with the certificate (and paysafecard.com has a valid one for me).
Is there no further information about the certificate?
I added a screenshot above what happens when I click on certificate (invalid)
Yeah, that's a certificate issued for t-mobile, but there should be one for paysafecard.com.
Meaning the people of t-mobile. At can access all of your data that you enter there.
If that doesn't bother you, you can use the site, if that bothers you, I would contact the provider.
Thank you for your help. Of course I don't want my data to be accessed somehow. Will contact them. Purely out of interest, why does my provider sometimes not let me on the page even though he himself is the one who can access the data?
Probably because the provider considers the site to be harmful. Maybe a lot of people use it for illegal stuff or something like that.
Presumably the goal is simply to deny you access and not to access data.
If you ignore the warning (that can be done under extended, details or something), where do you go?
Ignoring this is in itself harmless as long as you do not enter any sensitive data there.
I'll have a look in a moment. You just want to buy something on the internet and you don't have a credit card. Well, I'd rather be more cautious than careless on the Internet, I think to myself
Maybe it's this fun https://www.magenta.at/internetschutz
Clear your browser's cache and try again. If necessary, just ignore the warning and let the page open anyway.
It's a virus!
All paid money is gone.
Go to the police with it.
