So far, I have been able to set the option "maximum processor power" to 99 in my laptop under Windows 10 in the energy saving options under "advanced" in the processor power management to avoid a constant loud running of the fan. This option no longer seems to exist. Is it possible to do something else to spare the cpu and avoid a constant running of the fan?
Do you have a tool to retrieve the temperature of the cpu?
Core Temp, temperature since I no longer often have the option described in the power settings over 90 degrees
Well, then you have already given the answer to almost yourself. I guess once the fan is dirty and has added, as well as the cooling fins of the cpu. At 90 degrees, the fan is thus constantly running at full speed.Open the laptop and clean the fan and the cooling fins. In general, the fan slots and generally the cooling system are very susceptible to dust and settle quickly, alone by the space-saving tight design of the unit. This could help that the fan speed can correctly orientate itself at the temperature again and regulates again what it should and can also tax-technically.
