I just wanted to open one of my folders and it wouldn't work, seconds later it just disappeared. In panic, I changed the folder in which the folder was saved in its settings and properties to "Hidden" and "Archive". NOW THIS ENTIRE FOLDER IS ALSO AWAY. (I had most of it on one stick, so that's not so dramatic). Still can someone tell me how to make the folder visible again? And best of all, how do I find the folder my laptop just deleted…
What operating system do you have?
Open Explorer, click on the top view and check Show hidden files.
Of course, the folder is invisible if you set it to hidden… X)
Have all folders and files displayed in the folder settings and remove the checkmark again.

Otherwise there are recovery programs that you could try.
