Google Chrome bookmarks and login disappeared, why?

I just worked on my laptop and showed something to a colleague. Since the battery was empty, it went out. When you restart, all of the automatic accesses and bookmarks have suddenly disappeared. Since I had never saved it, I can't synchronize it either…

Hello - your browser may be set up so that all cookies, passwords etc. Are automatically "deleted" when you close it. Check this in the settings of Google Chrome:

If there's a tick next to "Cookies", this can lead to the websites not recognizing you, i.e. Not entering any more passwords or you will usually be logged out of all websites.

BUT: This usually only works if you have ticked the "Save passwords" box in the browser settings.

If the passwords etc. Are now "gone", you will have to enter them again. If you don't remember it, the only thing that may help is to request a new password or to reset the password.
