Wi-Fi is only the connection to the router. It will then take you to the network. Do you have the radio signal on the computer and not the globe.

It often helps to pull out the power plug, have a coffee or go to the bathroom. So that all the remaining streams are out.
Starting up the router usually takes longer than with a PC. So stay calm.
