I know that a PC is better, but what are the arguments against a laptop?

Every laptop is a PC, but not every PC is a laptop.

I guess you mean desktop PCs

but what are the arguments against a laptop

far worse P / L, worse cooling, hardly or not at all upgradeable, no free choice of components etc.

Laptops lose power faster. You are always tied to this laptop keyboard.

A laptop is a PC… And current ones are super powerful.

Since I have no space for a PC, a laptop is ideal for me, but I have connected a mouse.

So: Touchpad is often impractical, and a laptop gets hot quickly in the heat (I then put my back up a bit…

If you need something on the go, you can buy a laptop or a PC for stationary use only

First of all, a laptop is a pc. PC is an umbrella term for desktops, computers, laptops, PDAs and perhaps also smartphones and tablets.

So, a desktop pc usually has better hardware and better cooling (in the end more performance) for the same money.

A laptop is portable, not mobile.
A mobile device would be your smartphone, you can use it dynamically anywhere, but a laptop is portable, so you can use it elsewhere without any major problems.
So you can use it in the train or in the class, of course you can't with a desktop computer.

Laptops often also consume less power, they are designed for this (otherwise the battery would hardly last long). Desktops are designed for maximum performance. A typical laptop might use 10-15 watts when you surf the internet. A desktop pc towards 50-100 watts, depending on the system.
