But you can also connect via LAN cable with the router, call the page 192.168.2.1 or Speedport.ip and enter there the device password. Is on the back of the router or in your documents.

As Bonye has already correctly mentioned, the connections are usually self-adjusting. A look into the configuration certainly does not hurt.
