Why does my microphone sound so cheap on my PC?

I have a problem which annoys me really for a long time. And although my microphone sounds "cheap" on my PC and it sounds really clean on my laptop. I've already looked if I have any aktuallisiert any driver but it was all up to date: / Would be really great if someone of uucht could help!
