The following problem: I have a laptop from Medion model Akoya. The device is four years old and whenever I use a writing program (OpenOffice, Skype etc.) it switches to standby mode at irregular intervals without warning. It's really annoying, really annoying. Virus program and operating system (Windows 10) are up to date.

Does anyone know what this can be and how to fix this problem?

Medion is not a good company, I have a laptop from Medion Akoya that gets 95 degrees hot. Go to Settings and look at Settings "Settings for mains operation and energy saving"

That is now only a fairytale. Wherever it says Medion, Lenovo has been in it for a few years. And that's a pretty good manufacturer.

This is quite unusual for pure office use, but could actually be a thermal problem. Take a look at the temp's of CPU and the like with https://www.hwinfo.com/download/ (the portable DL is enough). The fact that the CPU can go up to ~ 90 ° C actually occurs more with gaming devices. In view of the age of the device, cleaning the cooling system would be advisable.
