Computer transfers virus to laptop?

I had a problem with my PC (win10), had it repaired and it was like new (also reset). When I went to my sister's laptop, I only registered in my e-mail to send something and processed a PowerPoint, but suddenly the background of the laptop (win10) became that of my PC BEFORE the reset. The laptop was only connected to my mouse and the power plug, is the laptop in danger?

Only when there are data connections, via WLAN or cable, which don't fly through the air is not a virus like the one in China.

Ow

The laptop is connected to the same Wi-Fi but this problem only occurred now, how can it be that the data or the background of my old PC that was actually destroyed are suddenly here when I use the laptop

PowerPoint presentation edited?
Transfer with a stick? Then there's a possibility that a virus was transferred because it was in the file that you transferred through the stick.
Can, need not!

I have often worked with this program, mostly successfully, with the necessary caution

Have no USB or the like plugged into the laptop, only the mouse. I created something with my sister's PowerPoint account and emailed it to someone. Did nothing else but suddenly the background changed

If it's just the background, Windows does it automatically.

If you were logged into your PC using a Microsoft account, the background image will be linked to the account. If you use the Microsoft account on another PC, the background image is synchronized.

However, I have not yet noticed when Windows does this automatically and when it does not.

Ow

Okay many many thanks, I hope it was done automatically because I logged in to the Microsoft account (which I don't remember)

na

You can simply check it on your laptop if your user account is linked to your Microsoft account there or if you have logged in to OneDrive.

I've had this myself and was initially amazed why the background image has synchronized.

Just the background, not the entire desktop?

I agree with Peter Kremsner.
Because Windows has standard backgrounds and if DIA Show is set at a certain time, something happens.
