I have a problem with my laptop. Windoof 10 shows me all the time that the last USB device was not recognized, even though I did not connect any. Then comes again such a sound that comes even if, for example, a USB stick in the slot. Shortly thereafter, this message comes back with a sound that usually comes when removing USB sticks.
A hardware defect, I can rule out, because the USB port works properly and my USB stick is detected, for example, despite the fact that all the time this annoying message comes up.
I have already uninstalled the drivers and restarted Windoof, but has done nothing, just as little as a reinstall of Windoof.
In the Device Manager I get such an unknown USB device displayed (although nothing is connected), which can be uninstalled, but always comes back.
The driver is probably from Intel. I did not find any newer drivers.
Can someone help me there?
Let's run a virus scanner over it. And a malware scanner. I'm 75% sure it's because of that. And 90% that such software is to blame. In the worst case, you have to rewrite Windows.
The tool

shows in the left navigator part under "Ports", "USB" mostly more details than the Windows Device Manager, perhaps there's something inside the laptop connected to USB in any way.
Is there a support DVD to the laptop or something? Did you search for drivers? Alternatively, go to the laptop manufacturer's site, look for the device on the support pages for laptop-specific devices and drivers. Sometimes Windows finds no drivers automatically.
