I have a problem, and I use my laptop as a PC and 2nd screen, but when I put it in the docking station, the display should be changed from 100% to 125% because I then sit further away. Is that somehow possible to adjust?

Safe in the properties.

So that I got it right

Your laptop in front of you and is used as a laptop.

Then you plug it into your docking station and continue to use your laptop when it is opened - with the laptop's screen?!

Because I have a 24 inch monitor on my docking station and the laptop is closed when it is connected to the docking station. There are no reading problems either.

But if you can't solve this in another way

I would only think of the "magnify" command right away.

You open your notepad or text editor -

magnify

Write this command in and then click on

Save file as

and select all files under the word "file type".

and then save this "text file" on the desktop as

Lupe.bat

If you now click on this bat file, the screen is enlarged by 200% - the screen magnifier is switched on. You can have it enlarged up to 1600%.

If you only want to enlarge the icons and the font size slightly instead - this will also be done via a batch file which you would have to create yourself.

Another alternative.

You hold down the CTRL key - whether left or right

And move the scroll wheel of your mouse - or move the part of your touchpad where you can move the image bars up and down.

This allows you to enlarge or reduce the ICONS quickly and easily.

Also works in websites etc.

Yes, I only want the icons and the font size to be changed, when docking to the station is this somehow possible with a shortcut?

El

Certainly you can have this done by a corresponding batch file - you can also see it in my answer above.

Nobody falls out of my sleeve, so the "other alternative" would be done much faster. See also above in my answer:-)
