Is this battery life sufficient or would a longer battery life be significantly better?
I find it sufficient. With 5 hours you can probably do almost a day and the universities still have sockets everywhere.
Thanks for the answer. I also think so, because I will hardly let the notebook run for the whole 5 1/2 hours.
Just it.
In itself, that is sufficient, since there are sockets in every lecture hall, especially in a modern university. Even in the Audimax there's a socket in the table every 3-4 seats.
Depending on the lecture schedule, however, it may well happen that your notebook gets too long. Last semester we had 5 Vl on Mondays, which leads to an effective running time of 7.5 hours.
5 hours are enough for a little daddling on the Internet, and certainly not for professional use. And they will come.
At UNI you won't have much fun with a cheap ballroom from the discounter. You need a sensible tool.
Specified or effective?
5.5h as the manufacturer's specification probably means 3h actual performance.
Would go on 8-12h.
Is a Lenovo Thinkpad L15. Specify a running time of 12 hours. However, this is effectively only 5 1/2.
That is a good runtime and usually sufficient for a day at the university. If necessary, you could partially charge the notebook during your lunch break.
Effective 5 1/2 hours, indicated is 12 hours.
