Mouse cursor clicks itself without my intervention - why can this be?

For example, the cursor is just over the video and the video stops as if I had pressed the left mouse button. After a while, it keeps running as if I had pressed it again. Etc. Where is the mistake. I have a Bluetooth mouse and my PC is a notebook from Lenovo but I do not use the touch pad.

Mud may have accumulated under or next to the mouse button.
