Big problem with new laptop and windows! -?
I bought a new laptop (Lenovo) and it was said that Windows 10 is on it. Now it says, I have to activate Windows, I wanted to do it, but there's always an error code. I'm connected to the internet so it can't be that. But I don't have a product key. It is not in the instructions that came with it and there was no sticker on the laptop either. How can I activate Windows now? I already wanted to contact Windows support but you are only connected to an automatic chat which does not help me. So please, how can I get my laptop to run Windows normally now? And NO I'm not buying a new Windows for 300 euro! I haven't even paid off the money for this laptop (someone loaned it to me). Please answer seriously and helpful if possible.
Where did you buy the laptop from? At a dealer? Or via private?
Either way. Contact the seller. Especially if you bought the device from a retail outlet, they are responsible for having a device that works as described. Otherwise you have the right to withdraw from the quay contract if the problem can't be solved.
It would be similar with a private purchase. If it was said that Windows is there, but is not the case, it is a kaif under false facts, which legally gives you the right to claim your money back.
How this can be implemented in practice depends on the willingness of the seller to cooperate.

You can get a working product key for a few euro on Ebay, I also had to get it because I wanted to keep the old computer in operation and built a new one.

this will most likely be a win 7 or 8 key that only works in 90% of the cases → but don't worry… In this case, simply contact the seller and they will send you a correct win10 key if necessary… You just have to know which version you need 32 / 64bit doesn't matter.
