New SSD is nowhere recognized?

Normally, it should appear in Disk Management - but it does not.

Samsung magician did not recognize her either.

I bought a Lenovo Y700 laptop with 256GB of memory. The versions with more memory have a built-in SSD - this had from factory where the 2nd SSD belongs nothing

It may be that the port is disabled in the BIOS / UEFI. Because just look in the device configuration.

A laptop usually has only one slot. There you simply plug in the SSD.

Thanks, I found the mistake. The cable seems to be defective. I have the connector cable from the other Lenovo removed and tested with me and there it went the first time.
