Cheap Laptop Sims 3?

I'm looking for a comparatively cheap laptop, with which I can play without problems among other Sims 3 (including many extensions). Unfortunately, I know myself from zero. He should still run well despite many games and not get stuck or the like. I realize that such a laptop is more expensive than a normal one, but maybe someone knows this and can tell me what the laptop should have and what not, or even better, a link.

This packs Sims 3 in any case, the integrated graphics is pretty strong. He is sometimes even 450 euro to have.

Disadvantage is that the fans are always to hear, so if that bothers you I would not take it, otherwise I can recommend it, my girlfriend is very happy with it.

4x 2.0Ghz is nothing. The requirements of the game are higher.

Th

I hope that's a joke!

du

I've heard that the processor is good, but are 4x 2 GHz not a little? The game requires at least 4x 2.4 GHz. Maybe it is enough even if the processor is powerful. Or did I skip something?

Th

Sims 3 demands 4x2,4? In which world do you live? The game is even on my toaster.

A current i5 or i7 runs at just 1.6 GHz, which is quite normal. This frequency is always the lowest clock rate, which can booster on well above 3 GHz!

So much better is the CPU compared to the minimum! https://cpu.userbenchmark.com/...9vsm378273

"2.6 GHz Pentium D CPU or 1.8 GHz Core 2 Duo or equivalent" I found in "systems with integrated graphics card"

I'm sorry, I totally misread. Then I do not want to have said anything against your laptop.

Sims 3 is really old and at the time it was not demanding, I can play it on my nearly 8 years old notebook with integrated graphics on maximum settings. That's what every notebook can do today.

No problem.

Yeah it was kind of funny, I played it too and the laptop had only 1.8 GHz and a normal Intel HD Graphics. Had to think of it before.

Th

Not bad. It does not always depend on the clock but rather on the architecture of the processor. For example, a modern 1.8GHz processor may be more powerful than a 2.5GHz older architecture. Likewise, nowadays the tasks are distributed over more cores and threads, at that time it was usually maximum dual core. I do not know how many cores Sims can use at all, but even a kernel that runs at 1.6 GHz and can also boost it should be able to handle the game.

I say so much:

People have the heaviest gaming PCs and can't easily play Sims 3 with all the enhancements. This game is just rubbish when it comes to programming, and EA knows that too, making it better on Sims 4. On the "paper" is indeed that Sims 3 is not so high requirements, but if you already get the message in EA's LAUNCHER "Do not activate too many extensions at the same time" says it all.

Because claim to be able to play Sims 3 with many extensions without problems AND on a rather cheap laptop, you can really forget, sorry… If you can live with a few jerks or crashes, you can start what to search Or on Sims 4 change

The goes SUPER: unfortunately only in the offer today.

Is really a good price and even SIMS 4 runs very well.

I know that Sims 3 is generally not perfect, but somehow acceptable. Unfortunately, my laptop is really old and even jerky simple games… I do not want to change Sims 4, because this game just sucks me. I prefer to stay with Sims 3.

Interestingly, I think Sims 3 just terrible compared to Sims 4: D But everyone's taste

An

I have tested the trial version of sims 4 because I thought it was better to test it after a few hours;) Finally, everyone has their own taste;)

Gi

What bothered you? Well, just out of interest now, not because I want to discuss what's better.

With Sims 3, you can zoom out beautifully and see the whole city, etc. With Sims 4 comes every time a loading screen (if only briefly), even if I go to my neighbors. I somehow felt a little bit trapped. And I can't see my job anymore. No idea, that really pissed me off. Sims 3 is much dearer to me.
