Remove Emergency DVD on PC?

I installed an emergency DVD on my laptop some time ago. After the 1909 update, it can no longer be opened. Laptop says: No files found. Now I would like to delete this installation. My question: Where can I find the installation? And how can I remove it? I would like to thank you in advance for an answer and wish everyone a healthy 2020.

You go into the Explorer (where your data is stored), right-click on your hard drive, which is displayed with your own files, and press "Format"

Di

Thank you very much. Question: Doesn't this delete the entire hard drive?

Bo

Oh! Of course not formatting the hard disk, but the DVD!
Excuse me!

Thank you very much for that. I'm not so proficient in PC. Explorer means I have to open the data carrier. Is that correct?

Yes

Do it like this:
Enter "Explorer" in the search bar at the bottom left and open this folder icon.
Then press "This PC" on the far left of the bar, which is marked with a desktop icon. Then right click on your DVD drive. You should not mistake this DVD drive for your hard drive, but you accidentally uninstall your entire PC. You click on "format" and remove the check mark at "quick format". And quick! Your problem is solved and the DVD is formatted.

Thanks a lot! Hope it works now.

Thank you for your help and all the best in the new year!

You are welcome! You too!
