Since my laptop has been defective for 1 month, I now and then check what is out there on the TV. And I just noticed that there was so much rubbish shown there.
It's really shameful and sucks
- Help me
- Hartz but cordially
- Cologne 50667
- Blue light report
- Insurance detectives
- Crazy school
- Swap wives
Lots of ridiculous stuff. What makes you really stupid.
I haven't watched television for about 9 years, but then in the evening you want to take a quick look. Just to pass the time and to entertain and then you see something like that… ^^
I mean it used to be like that. Then you knew if you were in the mood for a good cooking show then you turn on VOX and then Tim Mälzer runs.
There are 1 million cooking shows today? -.-
What do you think of all of this?
(Insults are reported)
People used to be more creative because they had less, now we have everything that is why some people don't think so much anymore.
Thank you lg
We don't have television in that sense, but we sometimes watch something from the media libraries. For example, Arte often includes beautiful documentaries and films. In addition, we generally like to see nature documentaries, regardless of the channel.
I haven't watched private TV channels for decades, for the reasons you mentioned plus advertising stupid. It is absolutely incomprehensible to me how someone can do this to themselves voluntarily. I can hardly stand it for 10 minutes, then I get physical discomfort…
This is popular stupidity and exactly what people want to see. Unfortunately there are no poetry programs
The programs can be saved on the hard drive and there's fast forward for the commercials. Then you don't have to rely on airtime…
Yes. I have to tell you that I haven't watched private TV for decades (that's not an exaggeration), but I also don't watch Netflix and the like.
On the other hand, there are still good programs, such as documentaries, reports and films on public television, apart from the mass programs. And that's what I orient myself. However, since I only watch TV in the evenings from 10 p.m., I'm not spoiled for choice. The later the evening, the better the program. Why the good things are now postponed far into the night is beyond my knowledge. And I still have my DVD recorder where I can record.
But you're right. You can't watch programs like the ones you've listed. And that's just the tip of the iceberg. But you have to watch too… The mass of TV viewers would like to see it (even if it doesn't admit it will) … So the television program is as good or bad as its viewers. Just look around here to see how many people watch certain programs like the ones you have performed here… You get big eyes, yes. Nobody bothers That 90 minutes of broadcasting is 40 minutes of advertising… It's all normal these days. ^^ The broadcasters already know what people want to watch… Just believe it.
If then the content would be worth watching - I'd love to, but as it is now, I do without it out of conviction ;-) We don't watch that much television anyway, and for the little we watch, we take what almost always high quality, and also available without advertising and without fast-forwarding. And we don't have to rely on airtime anyway, because we don't have a classic television set, we just watch everything from the media libraries.
Lower-class TV is booming in a society that mentally / ideologically moves on exactly the "level" that the makers and protagonists of the corresponding TV garbage have.
Also a possibility; I occasionally look into the media libraries and if I'm interested in something I download it to my PC. This is then usually transferred to a USB stick and used for the next vacation (anywhere in the world). Most of the TVs in the hotel room have a USB input with a media player.
I'll do that too.
