Yesterday when my MacBook Pro (2018) was closed, the ventilation of the Mac suddenly started about 45 minutes after it was last used. All programs were closed and it was hanging on the power supply and was on about 75 percent.
And today the internet is going very slowly all over my network.
Is it normal that the ventilation sometimes concerns? Or could that be a virus or something?
Yes, for me the fan went on at night for whatever reason. XD
Always these quality Apple products huh
The Mac has probably cleaned itself up and used capacity for it.
Check out the logs.
The CPU fan turns on again and again depending on the CPU temperature. If your CPU gets hot, the fan will spin faster and it can get loud.
There can be several reasons why the CPU has become hot; Possibly on a slightly heated surface, maybe simply the long operating time, possibly also dust in the housing (more on floor-standing computers).
If the internet has been slow on other devices too, it's not the Mac.
Simply switch off the Mac, updates may still be installed in standby mode (since outside of the usage time), which cause the fan to switch on.
I don't have an Apple but a Lenovo. XD
