I'm looking for an alternative to my Macbook Pro Mid 2012, which has been a loyal companion for years, but now has a motherboard damage and no longer wants to load.
My budget is very low as I currently travel backpacker through Australia. Unfortunately, I'm dependent on a laptop and now I'm looking for an alternative.
Usage: Netflix, use various smaller programs, surfing, manage files, office tasks, data transfer via USB
So I need a Windows 10 capable computer that can do the mentioned tasks. Since I have a low budget, I currently think about buying a tablet with Win10 and a USB port.
What can you recommend to me?
I think Ipads are great as well, but I rely on Win first and foremost.

So basically I would buy a device with a desktop operating system (ie no iPad or Android device), since there managing files, Microsoft Office just works better.
A new Macbook is probably not in question because of no USB (3.x) has ports.
With a specific budget (for example 400-600 Euro) it would be easier to find a solution.
How small is your budget? Evtl worth a used device. Added Surface pro 2 you get for about 200 euro
I would tend to the Lenovo Ideapad D330.
Or if it's more in the direction of cheap the Trekstor Primebook P14B.
