My hobby is taking pictures.

Is it worth it for photo editing etc. To get a MacBook Air 13 "?
I have seen that many photographers use a MacBook and have been considering buying one for a long time.
But I don't need it for more than image editing, learning and answering emails, which is why I don't know if it is worth spending so much money on it. But they usually last for several years, which is also an advantage because I then have a few years to search for laptops / MacBooks.

It depends on which year you want to take. There are already fast MacBook Airs with SSD and on which the latest software runs for almost 400 euro on eBay. If you really just want to take photos, emails, etc., that's enough! I recommend a MacBook Air not older than 2012 (best 2014 rum) with an SSD and i7 processor. Then the photo editing is all the more nimble

My tip: Order a matching bag right away. Since you are traveling a lot as a photographer, it would be a shame if the travel scratched the MacBook.

Have fun and best regards
