Active USB Type C Hub for MacBook Pro 2018?

I make music and use the MacBook 2018er as my laptop to use my DAW to connect various devices (interface etc.) I bought a usbc hub with many connection options a long time ago. Unfortunately, this is getting on my nerves more and more because it is not actively powered by electricity but takes the power from the MacBook and thus there's a very unreliable connection to my interface (sometimes not enough power to work). Now I'm looking for a USB Type C that solves all of my problems. It should be able to be operated actively with electricity, i.e. With a power supply in the mains, have enough connections and be connected to my laptop with usb type c. I have already searched half the internet for such a device with these criteria but unfortunately I have not been able to find it so far. If anyone of you has an idea what I can do best for me, that would be really good.

What is not suitable for example:

What exactly do "enough connections" mean? One can't guess this detail.

An active hub with a USB C connector does not actually seem to exist. Very strange. But there's nothing against using an adapter of this type, right?

My 2 USB Type-C hubs with passthrough charging should be active hubs.

My test:

I connected my cell phone to one of the type A ports on the hub using a USB cable. I connected a power supply to the Power In port. My cell phone charged. The Type-C plug, where you can connect your smartphone or laptop, for example, was free.

The adapter could first use the power as a hub and distribute the power to the USB devices. The rest of the power is then forwarded to the host, your MacBook, so that it can charge.

You should connect your 60W-100W MacBook charger to the hub.

Both hubs are no longer available on Amazon, so a link is not necessary. The behavior should also be applicable to other hubs.

First of all thanks for the reply. I currently have a hub with passthrough charging and use the USB c slot on it with my laptop charging cable so that everything works and even then not reliably. That's why I'm looking for an active one with more "power" so that my devices that are connected do not fail all the time (simultaneous charging doesn't seem to be enough)

I'm not concerned with the fact that there are many connections at the end that could be expanded with

I don't know which devices you want to power, but the USB specification doesn't provide very much power. USB 2.0 is designed for 500mA and USB 3.0 for 900mA. Your devices shouldn't draw so much power from USB. It is only a problem if you use many devices at the same time.

If individual devices draw a lot of current, they should have their own external power source.

Have you tried another hub yet? Maybe yours is defective.

Yes, the problem is: I have the focusrite 18i20 interface and that alone draws a lot of power, but it is only powered by usb. Even more devices are connected like an extra microphone as a usb. And in the interface itself there are synths and 2 more microphones connected. I have already tested several other hubs and it seems to me the only solution is to get an active usb hub that provides more power

Your interface has an IEC connection for power from the socket. According to the label, it draws up to 30W. USB is not designed for this. USB is only designed for data or minimal operation.

According to Thomann's description, it is also not designed for pure USB operation.
