Ok that sounds very funny then.
You can check the hard disk with the program "Crystaldiskinfo". This then reads out the so-called SMART values of the disk and shows you if it's okay. Then you already know if your data is in danger.
To get to the bottom of the problem you have to look into the event viewer.
