How should a notebook be equipped with Windows to beat the performance of the iPad Pro 2017?
Have read that the iPad Pros should be much faster than ordinary notebooks with Intel CPUs.
Unfortunately one can't really say that, because there's no Intel CPU running on iOS
The ipad pro 10.5 has a processor with six cores. 3 of these cores provide about 2.37 ghz. The other three cores are among others. For the power-saving mode as a reserve and consume less power. The actual performance is provided by the iOS operating system.
For example, an Intel i5 with four cores grabbed to 2.6ghz provides more power, but windows requires a bit more power and memory.
For example, the Windows 7 64bit operating system only needs 4 GB of RAM to work.
Laptops are also characterized by their external graphics card.
It is very difficult to say flat which laptop is as good as an ipad pro.
I recommend the Lenovo Thinkpad. They are available in countless versions.

It really depends on what you want. For example, you can't draw with stifft on the laptop.
There are mixtures of laptop and tablet. For example the Samsung galaxy book 12 or the windows surface pro or asus transformer book.
No idea how good these devices are. The windows surface, however, you see as often as the ipad pro.

I'm reluctant to correct you. 10 years ago, my calculator had only 2GB Ram and Win 7-64 went great on the box. How did we manage only then? 😱
People define Prima in very different ways. It also always depends on what you do with the PC.

Such a comparison makes little sense. On the one hand to compare tablets with notebooks and then even with iOS vs. Windows.
