I have a problem. I have a 400/200 Mbit line from DG.
This performance also arrives in the FritzBox 7590.
On my terra PC via LAN, I only get a maximum download of 180 Mbit.
If I connect my notebook to the same cable, I get the full 400/200.
I checked the settings and set the network card to 1Gbit under Speed 6 Duplex, this is also displayed.
A USB 3.0 Gigabit Ethernet card from Digitus also produces the same result.
Antivirus Avira first switched off and completely uninstalled.
terra netop PC Intel (R) Celeron (R) 3205U @ 1.50GHz 1.50 GHz, 8GB RAM,
Windows 10 PRo 20H2
Network onboard: Realtek PCIe Family Controller
USB network: ASIX AX88179 USB 3.0 to Gigabit Ethernet adapter
Does anyone have an idea why this might be?
Maybe the Celeron is slowing down the download speed. Do a speed test and look at the CPU usage in the task manager during the speed test.
Does the PC also have an SSD installed? 180mbit can very much like that you would write / read rate of an HDD represent the limit here.
OK that was quick. You're right, CPU usage at 100%
So a new processor for more data volume
SSD 500 GB
Unfortunately, you can't replace the CPU (at least without the appropriate tools). It uses FCBGA1168, which means that it is firmly soldered.
