As already announced in the question title, my headset has stopped working or the microphone (the headphones are working)
First of all about the hardware. I have a Realtek sound card with 3 outputs. My headset is a Lioncast LX50.
This afternoon I looked at NVIDIA settings because I wanted a streched resolution for a particular game (4: 3)
-> is it maybe because of the?
Then I gambled a few rounds. When my friend came to Discord, he suddenly stopped hearing me. Checked everything. Input device is set to standard device. I also increased the playback volume of the Realtek HD Manager (that you can hear yourself) and only hear a loud noise. Even when I use my remote control to mute the microphone, the noise continues. I also tried the headset on my laptop and it works perfectly.
Now it would be really helpful to give me a few tips to get the thing up and running again
System restore to the last save point.
? What nonsense… And totally exaggerated
So you have the version where the adapter is with and at the end 2 x 3.5 jack go into the computer. So since it has worked so far, there's only the possibility that the socket is not in order or that there's a cable break on the path of the microphone cable. Unplug everything and let the microphone be the only device trying to be recognized by Windows.
In different jack sockets.
You can also see the rashes on the input device using green bars if I remember correctly.
I think I suffered a cable break, the cable can be easily pulled out from the remote control. Danne for the answer.

However, I'm now asking myself why my laptop is working. I also plugged in another headset and the microphone is working. I also tried the jack in every box but without success: /

Then it's not the sockets. Then the break is somewhere from the microphone to the control element.
