I have a laptop with 2GB RAM and a 500GB HDD so I want to activate ReadyBoost on my Windows 10 Home with a USB but it doesn't work, unfortunately, can someone help me?

cu

Windows 10 needs at least 4 GB of RAM

Li

With me I have Win 10 Home with 2 GB of ram

cu

Yes, that works too, I mean Ready Boost

Li

OK

cu

The best thing is to upgrade the RAM, OR whatever. What is more forward-looking is that you buy a new laptop

For Windows Ready Boost, the USB stick must meet certain requirements:

at least USB 2.0 must be supported and available
the USB stick must have a minimum speed
the USB stick must be formatted in FAT / FAT32

Li

Yes, but I thought about that too, but I thought there was another solution

Li

Can you tell me the minimum speed

ma

The throughput should be 2.5 MB per second for 4 KB reads and 1.75 MB for 512 KB writes. File system must be FAT or FAT32, it does not work with NTFS.

Li

Ok I already have the prerequisites

ma

Then it should work too. Remember that some manufacturers write "Windows Readyboost ready" on it, but Windows will not accept this USB stick in the end.
