Amazon credit gone with new login?

I had two gift cards redeemed on my Amazon account and a total of 50 euro. Now I have logged in to my new laptop and see that there's nothing left. It is the same account, in that I do not understand what is going on and would be very happy about a tip, because it would be quite annoying to lose just 50 euro. Does anyone have any idea what might have happened and how to get my credit back?
