Ebay scam, send money back again?

I have a problem and hope for an answer.

I posted a notebook on classifieds

it has also reported who wants to buy it

He wants to pay by bank transfer and it should also be sent within Germany (Berlin to be precise), if everything goes well.

Then he said that I shouldn't be surprised that there's a different name for the transfer (no problem either)

Then he wanted the transfer details. So I gave the iBan… He then wanted the Bic. Complete name of the bank and my name.

I asked if it was a foreign bank. Did he answer in the affirmative… Not even a thing yet.

Now he has sent me a screenshot… And what do I have to see?

It's an English transfer (LLOYDS Bank) and there's also delivery information in the transfer… There's a completely different address (an English one) than he gave me.

I guess this is some kind of fraud again… And I won't send it.

But my question is now… What do I do when I actually receive money?

Can I just send it back… Decline or something?

But my question is now… What do I do when I actually receive money?

There's no "if" here, the same thing always happens:

Break off contact immediately, this is a clear and well-known attempt at fraud!
You will receive the alleged email from a bank that the money has been transferred and that you will get it the moment you post a package tracking number.

Everything fake. No bank in the world does such business. It is not a bank's job to check the shipment.

It always works like that. This is an old scam. Sellers in good faith then send off without realizing that they are being cheated. And that's it - you'll never hear anything again, money never comes and you're rid of your article.

Although he didn't get an email address from me (since it's eBay classifieds)

As I said, I'm just surprised that it is a German address where it should go and an English address on the transfer.

He also wrote in German…

But as I said… I will definitely not send it… But if (even if it probably doesn't happen) money arrives… What then?

Have already written to him that he should cancel / or at the bank so that they do that and I will not send it.

But as I said… I will definitely not send…
but if (even if it probably doesn't happen)
but money arrives… What then?

Sigh…

You don't understand, but please do it again:

Money will never arrive because this is a clear and well-known attempt at fraud.

The mail does not come from a bank, but from the fraudster.

Break the contact!

But I've understood it so far… Just wanted to be sure if it had happened.

But like I said… Either way, I wouldn't have sent the notebook.

With all this fraud, it's gotten really bad.

But thanks in any case for my confirmed guess

With pleasure.

And for eBay classifieds you should heed the following, then nothing can happen to you:

https://www.ebay-kleinanzeigen.de/sicherheitshinweise.html

There's really nothing more to say about it.

And if you still really want to send:

Only offer payment by SEPA transfer to your account.
Don't offer PayPal; not by goods and services, not by family & friends, not at all.
Do not react to alleged emails from banks, but only send them after you have convinced yourself that the money has actually been received.
Only send with tracked delivery.

Yes, I'm also aware of everything and trading always like that (transfer or pick-up nothing else)

This was just new to me (the "normal" England stories fly unread in the trash with me) because German was spoken here and a German address was given and it only turned out afterwards that it was something with a ner English bank has to do.

Well, the fraudsters are just getting more and more resourceful…
