What should I do with the blackscreen on the laptop?

I was just playing and then I hit my laptop on the keyboard then the screen turned gray. I turned the laptop off and on again but then had a black screen. The button where you turn the laptop on and off lights up as normal. Do you have any tips other than repairing directly or do I have to repair it at all?

My first suspicion is that you removed the ribbon cable to the panel when you tapped the device. You would have to put it back or maybe replace it.

tr

So all cables are properly plugged in

Ab

This ribbon cable is in the laptop. It goes from the mainboard to the panel.

tr

So all the cables I could see were not damaged or somehow broken all the stuff in there wasn't moved or anything. And I would have asked if I would repair it now how much would it cost if I damaged something very expensive have?

Ab

Which model is it and did you try to connect the laptop to a screen? If he doesn't have a picture, then it is most likely a total economic loss. If he has a picture, it can be said that it is just the cable between the board and the panel and that would be very cheap. Everything else, as already written, is probably the total economic loss if you don't do it yourself.

tr

You said that it is a total loss if the monitor doesn't work, can't any pc workshop fix it?

tr

It is a lenovo laptop ideapad s145

Ab

I write total economic loss, that's a little difference. Yes, it is very likely that it can be repaired, but it is also very unlikely to be economical because the repair is more expensive than the device could be. Therefore, it is most likely only economically sensible to repair this device if you can do it yourself.

So it is important to find out where the problem is. Does the laptop work connected to a monitor?

tr

No I haven't tested that yet, I'll do it

tr

How can I do that?

tr

And how high is the chance that you now know that you have a total economic loss

Ab

It is difficult to estimate what a repair will cost if you can't narrow down what is broken. So you get an image on an external screen or not? So get out an HDMI cable and plug one end into the laptop and the other into a screen / television.

tr

Ok i will try tomorrow thanks for your help

So I was at the repair he said it is probably the circuit board and that he does not repair something like that and I do not know anything about circuit boards how much would it cost to repair them if you had them done
