Mine takes about 10 minutes. I wanted to ask if this is normal?
Rather not. Is it already a little older? Mine only takes a few seconds.
Every relatively normal and modern computer / laptop takes a few seconds…
Mine too. But just a few seconds.
I agree
I still have one of 98, even that is much faster when starting up
No definitely after that is much too long in like new lepton should take less than a minute and an older model a maximum of 2-3 but 10 is definitely too long have you ever tried to boost the laptop or set it up again I would otherwise recommend the free version of cc -cleaner recommend to remove unnecessary data and fours
Mine about 15 seconds.

Even if he is over 10 years old.
Have I already got Kaspersky?
The start-up time depends on the BIOS, the operating system, the computing power and the location of the system as well as the programs to be loaded. Furthermore, the "Quick Start" option plays an additional role in Windows 10. But no computer can be started up in a few seconds. The short times specified here refer to starting from standby or hibernation. With a nimble system, this only takes about 3 or 30 seconds. Since in the first case the working memory does not have to be reloaded and in the second case there's a copy of the working memory on the system data carrier that can be loaded accordingly quickly, in particular from an SSD, these dream times result.
On the other hand, if you shut down the computer correctly, the contents of the working memory are lost. When restarting all necessary programs must be reloaded into the working memory and initialized. The number and type of background programs play an important role. The time required naturally varies greatly from system to system: for example, an SSD is installed in me and 20 background programs are started. It takes about a minute for everything to run normally.
With an optimized system without an SSD, the complete startup should be completed in Vista at the latest in 2-3 minutes.
