Which iPad would you recommend to me (Uni)?

I'm considering buying an iPad, but I do not know which one would work best. I already have a laptop, so I would continue writing homework etc. There, so I do not need a keyboard (which would probably be possible for everyone).

I would like to have an Apple Pencil to make electronic notes during lectures. Otherwise, I would probably use the iPad every now and then to Netflix, etc. To look, but that should be synonymous with every model well possible. Also, I would probably use it for the (more amateur) music production / recording with Garageband.

How much memory would you recommend to me? As I said, I have a laptop and an external hard drive on which I store all my photos, music, videos, etc.

Which model would you recommend?

The iPad 2018 can be used with pencil and a keyboard.

Costs around 320 euro + 90 euro Pencil + Keyboard.

The ipad mini is far too small for the university. That's what the name mini says. With its 7 inches barely bigger than a smartphone 😂

Ipad 2018 is priced very well, but for everyday use and especially for the uni a load, as it still has the old processor of 2 years ago and a question of time, when the processor has its limits in the more complex programs, the especially in the uni comes to be used.

In addition, the iPad 2018 has no laminated display (outdated display technology) of Apple, which makes the use of Apple Pencil difficult (air layer between the display and glass)

for daily use it should be at least the ipad air 2019 (at Media Markt) from 520 euro available.

Furthermore, the iPad Air 3 has a connector for the keyboard, which does not have the Ipad 2018 …

These already have the newly laminated display, which makes it much easier for you to use the Pencil of the 1st generation. In addition, the Aipad Air 3 has the new A12 chip, which allows you to open fast PDF, s without even having to pay attention to load times and it will be your faithful companion for the next 5-6 years. And with 10.5 inches it is pleasant (not too small for the university and not too big for the couch)

if you have more money available, then take the ipad per 11 inch. But is much more expensive, and has the same processor and the display as the ipad air 3 … Just a few extras more

Depends on your budget. I would at least recommend an iPad Air 2019. If the money is available, the Pro is the much more pleasant choice.

Memory is enough for every 64Gb. At least if you really restrict it to your applications.

The best you buy the device but not new but "refurbished". Because you can save a few 100 euro quickly.

ps. Wait another 1-2 months. New iPads are expected in the fall. If you do not like the new ones, the old ones will be cheaper.
