As already written above I wanted to ask if anyone has experience with the Premium version of the 4K Video Downloader (https://www.4kdownload.com/products/product-videodownloader) and / or the Premium version of the YouTube Downloader (https://www.dvdvideosoft.com/products/dvd/Free-YouTube-Download.htm).
Since I travel a lot and I often do not have internet access on the internet, I download quite a few YT videos that I then watch on my laptop, so one of the two versions would be worthwhile.
So far, I noticed in the free version of the 4K Video Downloader that the video titles are often cut off, I hope that would be no longer the case with the premium version.
Incidentally, the prices are:
4K Video Downloader - Lifetime License = 14.28 euro
YouTube Downloader - Lifetime License = 29 euro
And you think that you can buy one of the two downloaders as a premium version without hesitation? I think the pages are not sooo serious now?
So for movies I use meanwhile the IDM (https://www.internetdownloadmanager.com/)
He is a "normal" download manager as well as a "streamcatcher" who can recognize streams and download them safely. I use it, e.g. At Youtube, when initially the advertising is running, he shows you already the main file and all others with the stored resolution (for example, 360, 420, 750 HD, etc.) and can download it.
Then I use it at the ARD-ZDF media library, where I have not found a decent downloader to date that can download the streams offline for me.
I have paid around 29 euro and have lifelong update option.
Will not miss the thing, I download the movies / streams with it down and then look at the VLC player offline.
The company also responds to suggestions for improvement, had problems with the download stream of Netflix, have described problem, 1 week later, the update was out and now works.
Can one also use it, e.g. Download complete playlists directly from YouTube or add each video individually?
Oh, in my case, I select the videos, when "playing" IDM grabs the link and inserts it into his DL list. I have not tried anything else yet.

To download on Youtube I would use this Firefox addon: https://addons.mozilla.org/...converter/
Then I recommend this Firefox add-on: https://addons.mozilla.org/...touch-vpn/ So that you can watch in Germany synonymous locked youtube videos. It also works with the Youtube-Downloader addon and also allows you to download locked videos.
This is not possible with the 4K Video Downloader.
