Why is the CPU speed of my laptop so high even though it is only 5% utilization
Base speed 2.40GHz
Turbo bumps up to 4.10GHz
As soon as any little things want something in front of the CPU, it tackles up automatically. Is normal and too sensitive in my eyes:-)
But has been constantly high for a while and does not go down although I do nothing.
The whole time between 3.90 GHz and 4.10 GHz
Then some software on your PC will not stand still and annoys your CPU with some tasks:-)
Have now found out what it is. Every time I charge the battery, the CPU usage increases. I updated my bios a few days ago. Is that something related? Did I wreck my laptop?
No, it could be that the update made the automatic tacking a bit more sensitive… That will certainly be software in windows, which demands the performance:-)
