It is so that the CPU is only soldered to some Laptops. But if a socket is specified for me, does that mean that my cpu is not soldered and I can replace it with a better one?
The naming of the CPU socket is a good aid for researching which type of technical contact is involved.
At Intel the endings .zif / .pga and .lga mean a mechanical base, and .bga a soldered contact.
At AMD, BGA also stands for solder contact.
And what does that mean in good German? 😅
It's already there.
If you do not (yet) understand this, I will be happy to help you if you give me the name of the base in question for your question.
So I downloaded cpu-z and it says Socket 1515 FCBGA can I replace the cpu?
Unfortunately, it is not easy to exchange, since we're talking about FCBGA.
Unfortunately, the CPU is directly soldered to the motherboard, and only a professional with the appropriate equipment could swap something here.
Too bad then I have to give up gaming:-(. But thanks for the answer
Which notebook do you currently have exactly?
(Manufacturer and full model number)
What games are you talking about?
It's about all games (except minecraft) my laptop has so little power that I usually get below 30fps with all games…
I have the Acer aspire 5 A515-52K
Manufacturer: Acer
Intel pentium gold
Intel hdgraphics 610
I don't want to ask to buy a pc or another pc because my mother is one who always worries about it and I don't want to appear ungrateful.
