Got a new laptop and just wanted to try Teamspeak but there was no sound from me somehow. Then I tested whether you can hear audio or video, but you don't hear anything. Why is that? Have already looked in the settings, every app has access to the microphone.

Have a look under the sound settings of your laptop.
An incorrect output device is probably selected.
Does the input level deflect when you speak into the microphone? Do you hear yourself when you listen to your microphone in the audio settings?
When I make audio recordings I don't hear anything. And there's no sound in videos either
What is currently set for you as an active audio input and output device?

In the Windows Control Panel → Sound
When recording, there's a microphone array
How is your microphone connected to the PC? Directly with the integrated sound card? USB?
Uhm with micro I mean the built-in
