Scrolling in Word with Apple Pencil?

At the moment I have the problem when I try to scroll in Word (on the iPad) with the Apple Pencil and instead draws.

Is there any way to disable that?
I don't want to paint in the document, I just want to edit it
(scroll, write) just like you would on a laptop.

Otherwise there's a cursor on the right side when zoomed in, which you can simply drag back and forth.

What kind of cursor should be there on the iPad. When I work with the pen or something like that, there's none. With the pen it switches to drawing mode whenever I want to scroll.
