I bought a new laptop with pre-installed Windows 10 and now have problems logging into my school's Wi-Fi network. My school's Wi-Fi has a security type by typing in their username and password. I have tried it with my and other accounts with which I'm already logged in on my smartphone. I was able to log in again with my smartphone, so I think it's more like my laptop. But if I enter these data only the message "Can't connect to the WLAN" comes without further details. I have tried to log in with lower security standards, like without a firewall, but this did not work.
Happy about any good proposal!
Can it be that you can only be connected to one device?
Unfortunately not, other people are already logged in with several devices in their account.
Can the laptop connect to other Wi-Fi networks? Do you have a WLAN stick that you could use on the laptop?
It is conceivable that you have to register your device with your network administrator first. Maybe a MAC filter is enabled, or the number of devices per account is limited.
