Would like to buy a ps4 game for pc from steam but is it worth it for my laptop?

Intel®Core ™ i5-9300H 2.4 GHz (up to 4.1 GHz)

Processor manufacturer Intel

Quad-core processor design

Number of processor cores 4

Frequency processor 2.4 GHz

Turbo clock frequency processor maximum 4.1 GHz

RAM 16 GB DDR4 RAM

Clock rate 2400 MHz

Hard disk 1000 GB SSD

Graphics card: Nvidia GeForce ™ GTX 1650 (4GB Ram)

Would they run smoothly at all?

Sure

Which game exactly?

I wanted to buy Dragon ball Z Kakarot, Persona 5 Strikers (coming out soon), Dragon Quest, Final Fantasy.

Then I can buy it with confidence.

Is no problem. You can make full resolution

Depends on the game. The older a game, the lower the hardware requirements. It is logical, when the game was written there was a certain limit that the programmer had to adhere to, otherwise the game would not run for any customer. And years later, this old limit is no problem even for "weak" computers!

The minimum hardware requirement is always specified on Steam. Your PC must at least have that so that it works at all. It runs smoothly and with medium graphics settings if your PC has or exceeds the "recommended" hardware requirements.

In general, laptops are a little slower than PCs when it comes to games, so they should be higher than the minimum requirements. This is due on the one hand to energy-saving parts such as the processor and graphics card, which are not always as fast with the same data, and on the other hand because the RAM is also used by the graphics card.

Laptops are not cooled that well and often have to throttle the CPU. And when the graphics card is using the RAM, the processor often has to wait and can't continue. Also note that the laptop version of a graphics card is often less powerful, even if it has the same name, in order to save electricity and waste heat. So-called "gaming graphics cards" are technically overclocked and therefore have these gigantic heat sinks which of course do not fit into a laptop.

But even a bad buy is not so bad, then you just wait until you buy a new laptop anyway in a while, which is then with the highest probability even on high graphics settings.

From one of the games

recommendation

Operating system: Windows 10 / 8.1 / 7 64-bit
Processor: AMD FX-8320 8-core
RAM: 16 GB RAM
Graphics: Radeon R7 370
Storage: 25 GB of available space
Sound card: onboard

Minimum requirement:

Operating system: Windows 10 / 8.1 / 7 64-bit
Processor: Core i3-2100 3.10 GHz
RAM: 8 GB RAM
Graphics: Geforce GTX 650 Ti
Storage: 25 GB of available space
Sound card: onboard

That would probably not work with my graphics card and processor, would it?

We'll see

Intel®Core ™ i5-9300H 2.4 GHz (up to 4.1 GHz)

Processor: Core i3-2100 3.10 GHz

Should work, because your i5 can do a lot more in turbo. The only question is, how long does your laptop manage to keep it cool before it has to be throttled? Since your i5 has more cores and is otherwise more efficient, the game should run with it. Unfortunately, you can never say exactly whether it will go well, but it is very likely here!

RAM 16 GB DDR4 RAM

8 are needed, so it fits with a lot of reserve!

Graphics card: Nvidia GeForce ™ GTX 1650 (4GB Ram)

Graphics: Geforce GTX 650 Ti

That should also fit, you can probably even turn the graphics settings quite high, at least better than minimal!

There's of course no guarantee, but it looks good.

Thank you very much. I'll buy it right away.
