It is about screen bleeding on a laptop display, which is not mentioned in the description
Are you still within the return period? If so, just try to return.
And if not, contact customer service. They are super accommodating.
Send it back, done.
From a legal point of view, you have a two-week right of return for online orders. You are welcome to use this if you do not like the article. The reason doesn't really matter.
Amazon actually doesn't have any problems with returns. Sometimes not even if you are over the two weeks.
Downloaded almost 100 GB of stuff. I accept screen bleeding if I'm reimbursed
How reimbursement? Keep the thing but claim the coal back? It won't work. Either you give it back or you keep it. You will hardly be able to claim "damages". For this you would have to be able to prove and quantify the damage.
Well, Amazon or the warehouse sellers are usually relatively accommodating. You get a partial refund or a voucher and can keep the device.
Then I would just try it. I haven't seen it myself.
But I wouldn't want to live with a device that I think has flaws - who knows what will come up. It is better to temporarily store the data elsewhere and get a new or different device. But of course that's just my opinion.
You are absolutely right. Apparently the questioner does not feel like backing up / copying the 100 GB somewhere quickly đŸ˜…
Can you copy downloaded games from Rockstar Games Launcher and Origin to a USB stick and then simply save them next time in the new device and show them in the library?
I did some research, some people tried to send it back twice, but this screen bleeding problem seems to occur very often, even with new devices of this model.
I get a refund of 130 euro so in the end the thing costs 735 euro instead of 1000 euro, which is a good price. (Acer Nitro 5 with rtx2060)
Still, I'll send it back if I can't come to terms with it.
Maybe it's me - but I can't stand it in the long run. Even a tiny bubble under the protective film of my cell phone annoys me. With my son it looks like a map of global icing and it doesn't scratch him. I would constantly stare at the screen error with gritted teeth - I probably just got a quirk
No me too. Today I took the risk and opened a key because it makes a noise every now and then…
I often took out cell phone protective glasses because of the problem mentioned…
But you only notice the bleeding when the screen is black and in a dark room that's why I will probably accept it… 300 euro more just so that it would be gone is not worth it
