I have now bought F1 2020 on sale again to play online with friends. I have two weak laptops and a "high-end" PC. The game runs great on my PC - the game runs okay on the laptops: Graphics are pretty bad but playable. The performance of the game is pretty much the same on both laptops.
Can I somehow "connect" these two laptops to double the computing power? Or "tap" a bit of power from my PC? Is there any way that doesn't cost a lot? Does a fast SSD that I connect to the laptop help? Does anyone have any way to make a laptop faster without swapping parts or something?
Clean up or remove rubbish from the laptop
The laptops do what they can and no more. You can't get out any more. Merging does not work because there's no technical possibility to do so. It is also not really possible to make it faster without upgrading. You can only make sure that nothing is running in the background and free the laptop of data junk. An SSD only gives you faster loading times, not better performance. Upgrading laptops is also only possible to a very limited extent.
In the end, your best option is to simply play on the PC.
