Laptop makes noise and does not start up?

My question is whether my laptop is broken or if there's still something to be saved: /

Nothing happens when I connect my laptop to the charger, but I pull the plug out of the socket and put it back in while my laptop is connected, it charges for a few seconds. In the meantime, he makes strange whistling and squeaking noises. At some point, it just won't charge anymore. When I want to start it up, only a small lamp lights up.

Does anyone know what to do or whether they can no longer be saved?

Ha

Difficult to say due to your few / imprecise problems, but I would remove the battery from time to time, which shouldn't help, probably not… We all know that you can't do much about Lapis… In that case, I'm sorry.

Oa

A defective battery does not squeak. That sounds more like a hard drive.

There can be several reasons for this.
If the battery does not charge, it may be defective…
If you hear a squeak, it could be the hard drive…
etc…

Since speculation is of little use to you, you should seek out a man from the specialist who takes a closer look at the device.

Ly

You could take out the hard drives and install them in another laptop / PC, then you will have the data again

But a laptop with a defective hard drive can at least be charged… 😂

The strange whistling and squeaking noises could be a coil whine from a defective power supply. After all, he says yes it comes as soon as he pulls the plug out of the socket.

Because of the noises, which occur only when you disconnect the power supply from the power, I type on a defective power supply. And that your battery is simply empty and you therefore can't switch it on?

But to be honest, it was only advisable…

But this light on the power supply is green, shouldn't it work then?

cu

That doesn't mean everything…
Does the noise come as soon as you plug it into the power without trying to turn it on?
You can also hold your ear near the power supply, maybe you will hear it louder than on the laptop.
