Yesterday it worked flawlessly and just not anymore. Between these two times my laptop was off and when I press the backspace button now nothing happens
There can be different reasons.
- Maybe a foreign object or liquid got in between. If you have a compressed air spray, just blow it in or if possible pry it out (be careful)
- Can also be due to the software. Just restart the laptop.
- Turn off the laptop and disconnect the power supply and if it works, also remove the battery and wait 10 min.
- Try using the on-screen keyboard to see if the backspace button works. (In Win10, in the Start menu, enter "On-Screen Keyboard")
- Connect external keyboard
That with the foreign bodies, I think unlikely because it happened almost overnight and while my laptop was closed all the time.
've restarted before my question and it did not help.

Oh, and "num lock", "+" and hastag / raute "do not work either, almost like a spreading virus, starting with the backspace button
