If I clean-install a laptop from WIndows, can I still open the recovery function when I start with the key combination if I do not delete the recovery partition but only delete C? Or can I then no longer start because the link to the boot partition or C may be linked, which is deleted when windows is installed cleanly?
There's no "factory setting" under Windows.
If you should have such a function, then this is a special software from the manufacturer.
Of course, this is not part of a "clean install" - unless you install it again.
I personally don't believe in reset or factory settings. A short research here shows how often this goes wrong.
I think more of backups. You should definitely create from the system data carrier (!) Beforehand - no matter what you do.
