I want to completely reset my laptop and erase everything. I just wonder my Windows 10 disappears too? Do I have to reactivate it with a new key or does it stay on automatically? Or if you had Windows 8 on it before and then only run Windows 10 and then do it, do you have Windows 8 or 10 afterwards?
If you look for reset in the bottom right, you can choose how the PC / laptop will reset. Windows will NOT be deleted.
If you have a data carrier, plug it in and reinstall without taking the data with you. What kind of operating system is on it is written on said data carrier or DVD.
Or you can find a restore point and reset your laptop to a point in time of your choosing
No, Windows 10 stays on it when you reset.
A reset to Windows 8 is only possible within 10 days of upgrading from 8 to 10. This period has certainly expired for you.
If you call "Reset this PC" in the control panel, you have a choice of what to keep. But in all cases Windows 10 stays on it itself.
We're already at Windows 10, there it is different and the reset is integrated.
Alright, thank you very much!
